My Pop Up Store was born in the mind of Thierry Bisseliches one beautiful day in 2004 in New York amidst the Halloween festivities. Like everyone else, he was caught up in the frenzy of searching for a costume for the occasion. “Why do we have to go to the outskirts of the city, waiting in line in front of a few specialty stores, when with such demand, we could have shops close to our homes or workplaces that would open just for the season? And it would definitely be a hit!?” The idea of the pop-up came from there.

A few years later, in 2009, with a bit more maturity and experience, My Pop Up Store was created. Its mission? To evangelize this new concept and support any brand that wishes to venture into it! The first client came naturally: Michael Jackson! None other! Following his passing, and particularly at the time of the launch of the film “This is it” in his memory, Universal Music was looking for a specialized provider to create a pop-up store for merchandise at the Olympia. Due to a misunderstanding, My Pop Up Store was chosen, executed, and was mentioned as a partner in the press releases.

My Pop Up Store is now launched.

Opération clés en main pour Yves Rocher sur la Place Colette, Paris

My Pop Up Store has gradually structured itself around three service areas:

- real estate: rental of strategic locations for short periods

- event management: design and production of turnkey pop-ups

- retail management: operational management of the store with sales forces and retail tools.

These departments have led to brands and entities that are separate yet connected, which today form the My Pop Up Store group.

Since its creation, My Pop Up Store has been at the heart of the retail and event buzz in the capital and has shared its expertise in the media. We have fully conceived and produced events as crazy as the pop-up restaurant by Krug on the roof of a construction site, the launch of Karl Lagerfeld, or the very first Pokémon Center in France. My Pop Up Store has set up hundreds of brands in Paris, and beyond, throughout France and sometimes outside of it. Discover the major turn-key events carried out by Nino Agency, our event agency. Thanks to our venues, brands like Raffineurs, Horace, and Slip Français have emerged. Others, like Mercedes, have put on a show in an entire building or maintained a connection with their community, as Marithé François Girbaud has done several times. Finally, foreign players, such as Moleskine, have been able to rely on our services, particularly store management, to deploy or expand their retail network in France.
